Prize Giving and end of season Social - 22nd November

After another busy season it was good to see so many people gathered in the clubhouse for a celebration of achievements and a good old natter and catch-up.

The sub-committee threw a proper party with a fabulous 2-course dinner for 75 members, family and friends everyone was welcome!

The prize giving started with the junior section where Vicky told us about WFSC becoming one of the new RYA Pathway paths and the opportunities it will bring us as well as the exploits of our travelling Minions and the success they've had across the northwest and beyond. We also watched a video from Jessica about her very exciting year becoming part of the British 420 team which has taken her as far away as Portugal real dedication and talent!

The adult prize giving reflected the fierce competition across the different fleets and successes away from the club too. Congratulations to Pete Coop who still leads our pack he needed a wheelbarrow for all the trophies!

RYA Regional Chairman, Richard Hemmingway joined us for the evening to present the club with a prestigious Impact Award. The club is really making its mark far and wide!

Next year we might even get chance to have some dancing we were just too busy enjoying ourselves.
